• 2024 Santa Barbara Shootout Registration Is Open
    • The next Santa Barbara Shootout is February 2 - 4, 2024 at Happy Canyon Vineyards Piocho Polo Field in nearby Santa Ynez, California. The Santa Barbara Polo Club in Carpinteria is closed to field events this winter tournament season. They have a major restoration period scheduled for all their fields. 
       
      Registration for Shootout 2024 is open but please be aware we are still waiting for our weather cancellation insurance for the event. The application has been submitted and we're waiting for it to bind. Registration is open even though we may not have weather cancellation insurance to cover your entry fee.  Take note.

      It was another great Santa Barbara Shootout in 2023. Forty-three teams played seventy-six games at the Santa Barbara Polo Club.  In WCLA D1 three teams finished undefeated for the unofficial tie for first place. they were BYU (4-0), Colorad0 (3-0) and Dominican.(3-0).  In WCLA D2 it were Utah Valley (4-0) and SBCC (3-0) that were undefeated. In the mutual matchup preset schedule format there's no bracket and final game play in the Shootout so these teams will have to be satisfied with the unofficial tie. The next Santa Barbara Shootout is February 2 - 4, 2024.

      The Santa Barbara Shootout offered both WCLA and WCLO divisions for 2023.  WCLA teams were out in force but no WCLO teams signed up. We will offer WCLA and WCLO matchups again for 2024.
