Lorin Field

Lorin Field is in her first year as head coach of the Elms College Women's Lacrosse team for the 2023 season.


Prior


Field Served as an assistant coach for Plymouth State University from 2014-2015, then served as interim associate head coach for the Panthers from 2015-2016. She was the program's goalkeeper specialist and defensive coordinator.

Playing Experience


In 2014, Field led the Panthers to the LEC Championship, the first for the program since 2006 and led the team to their fifth NCAA tournament appearance. Field was named the LEC Tournament MVP following the championship win vs. Keene State.


Field is one of the most decorated women’s lacrosse players in Plymouth State history, and was named an IWLCA Second Team All-America in 2014 history. She was named LEC Defensive Player of the Year three years in a row, was a 3X All-Region selection, a 3X First Team LEC All-Conference selection and an ECAC First Team All-New England Selection as a senior. Field was the NCAA Division III statistical champion in 2013 in save percentage ( .569%), and in 2014, she finished second in the nation with a .591% save percentage. Field was named PSU's Female Co-Athlete of the Year following her senior season.


Field graduated from Plymouth State as the record holder for Most Games Played in a Career (61), Most Wins in a Career (41), Most Saves in a Career (545), and Most Minutes Played in a Career (3135:40).
