Jason Grace

Jason Grace enters his first year as the WVU Potomac State College’s head men’s lacrosse coach in 2019-2020.


Coach Grace comes to Potomac State from Earlham College (In.) where he served as head men’s lacrosse coach from 2017 through 2019. Tasked with building the NCAA Division III program from scratch; he recruited, equipped and led the Quakers through their inaugural season in 2018. The 2019 season saw the program advance in every measurable area, including the first win in program history, in route to a four-win season.


During the 2015 and 2016 seasons Grace was the head coach at NJCAA Anne Arundel Community College (Md.). In leading the Riverhawks to consecutive 11-win seasons he was awarded the NJCAA Region XX Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2016 and the Maryland Juco Conference Coach of the Year in 2015.


Grace spent two seasons, 2013 and 2014, as the assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Hanover College (In.). His duties included coordinating recruitment efforts and implementing the strength and conditioning programs at the NCAA Division III program.


Grace has experience at the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division I level, serving as assistant coach at Oregon State University in 2011.


Coach Grace earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management degree from York College (Pa.) in 2004 and his master’s degree in Coaching Education from Ohio University in 2016.
