Michael Rhodovi

Michael Rhodovi enters his second season as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in 2025 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.


Rhodovi got off to a strong start in his debut campaign in 2023-24, guiding the Blugolds to a 12-5 record and a third-place finish at the inaugural Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. The 2023-24 team produced new season records for goals, assists, shots, ground balls and caused turnovers.


Rhodovi came to the Midwest from Maryland,where he served as an assistant coach at Hood College for one season and was connected through many youth lacrosse organizations.


Prior to Hood, Rhodovi was an assistant coach at Howard Community College from 2019-22. Rhodovi also spent nine seasons as head coach at Wilde Lake High School and was also a coach for Rebels LC Maryland.


Rhodovi has a deep passion for coaching that can be traced back to 1993; where after graduation he began coaching youth sports starting with rec & club youth organizations (Howard Huskies & Tri-City Eagles Ice Hockey Clubs, Laurel Steelers, Elkridge Hurricanes football programs, HC Lax). An active board member with Howard County Lacrosse Program (2007-2019); Rhodovi has coached hundreds of boys and girls from recreation, high school and travel programs (Cobra Lacrosse) to elite Club programs (HoCo Girls LC 2014-2021, Rebels LC 2022 - 2023) including select tournament teams (MD Metro Women's U19 Team for the National School Girl Memorial Day Tournament, 2017- 2023).


In 2014 he co-started the HoCo Girls Lacrosse Club and served as program Director until 2019; also serving as coach of the 2021 Black Team from 2014 to graduation in 2021 (2015). He was the recipient Howard County Good Sports Award - GoodSports is a MARPSA program that goes beyond sportsmanship encouraging local athletes and coaches to take responsibility for their actions and behaviors on and off the field to assure the best sporting experience for all.


Rhodovi is a father of two and resides in Howard County.

Courtney Puhl

Courtney (CJ) Jones-Bilal enters her first season as an assistant coach with the UW-Eau Claire women's lacrosse team in 2024. She is excited to work with amazing athletes at the collegiate level.


Jones-Bilal has coached multiple high school lacrosse teams, including Hudson (Wis.) from 2018-2021 and Coronado (Nev.). She helped guide Coronado to their second league championship and a state runner-up finish in the Nevada state championship in 2022. She has also coached at the club level with Minnesota Lakers Select, Movin Up Lacrosse and Vegas Strong Lacrosse. Jones-Bilal also coordinated specialized lacrosse clinics with Prime Lacrosse & AMB Athletics and worked clinics with Westward Lacrosse, and continues to work with Homegrown Lacrosse through Minnesota.


Jones-Bilal played lacrosse for four years at O'Fallon Township High School in O'Fallon, Ill. She also played for Brave Lacrosse in St. Louis, where she earned accolades over the years like Most Valuable Player, all-conference and all-tournament recognition. Jones-Bilal briefly played for Augustana College at the NCAA Division III level.


Jones-Bilal studies American Sign Language to English Interpretation and Deaf Studies. She has been a Sign Language Interpreter and Deaf Educator in Illinois and Missouri. She received a Master's in Science Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and will complete her Doctorate in Education through UW-Stout in the spring of 2024.


She is an Alternative Education Teacher and Special Education Teacher for Owen-Withee High School and also coaches middle school girls basketball.
