Olivia Cope

Olivia Cope enters her first year at the helm as the Women's Lacrosse Head Coach.


Cope's coaching journey, with her most recent position as the Varsity Head Coach at Bountiful High School from January 2021 to August 2023, demonstrated her exceptional leadership skills and tactical acumen, guiding the team to multiple victories and instilling a sense of discipline and determination in her players.


Before her role at Bountiful High School, Cope served as an Assistant Coach at Brigham Young University in the fall of 2019. Although her tenure was brief, her impact was significant, contributing to the team's success. Before her stint at BYU, Cope held the position of Assistant Coach at Pleasant Grove High School from August 2014 to August 2015 and later returned as the Varsity Head Coach from August 2018 to August 2019. Her time at Pleasant Grove saw the team thrive under her guidance, honing their skills and showcasing remarkable improvements.


Cope's dedication to the sport extends beyond coaching, as evidenced by her Level 2 US Lacrosse Official certification, obtained in March 2020 and maintained to this day. This certification attests to her comprehensive understanding of the game and her commitment to upholding its integrity both on and off the field.


Her notable coaching journey also includes a tenure as the Varsity Head Coach at Bingham Girls Lacrosse from August 2016 to August 2017, where she once again showcased her coaching prowess by leading the team to a series of impressive performances.


Cope's academic background further complements her coaching expertise, earning a degree from Brigham Young University in 2012, where she was also a four-year student-athlete on the women's lacrosse team, earning the team three national tournament appearances.
