Kathelene Kim

Kathelene Kim enters her fourth season as head coach of the Quincy University women's lacrosse program.


She was named Great Lakes Valley Conference Coach of the Year in the Spring of 2022.


Kim was named the first head coach of women's lacrosse in the history of Quincy University in 2018.


In her first year, Kim led the Hawks in their inaugural season in 2020 by picking up two wins in a season that was shortened by COVID-19.


Kim came to Quincy University after spending the last two seasons at Queens University of Charlotte, in North Carolina. In 2018, Queens won its fifth straight SAC Conference Tournament Championship.


While at Queens, Kim helped lead the team to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2017 and finished the season ranked #8 in the country. Queens also captured the 2017 SAC regular season and conference championships. Kim coached 14 all-conference players during her time at Queens and 3 All-Americans.


Kim previously spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University, including spending time as the acting head coach. Lenoir-Rhyne finished each season with a winning record with Kim on staff. She coached a pair of All-Americans during her time at Lenoir-Rhyne.


Prior to Lenoir-Rhyne, Kim was the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Pennsauken High School coaching Varsity and overseeing both JV and Freshman teams. While at PHS, the team made playoffs.


Kim interned with the Pennsylvania State University Women's Lacrosse team during their 2013 season, while also serving as a volunteer coach at Bellefonte Area High School.


Kim played collegiately at Penn State-Abington where she served as team captain. She was also a member of the cross country team. Kim graduated from Penn State University in 2013 with a BS in Kinesiology. Kim received her MBA from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2016.

Gracie Hrabusicky

Grace Hrabusicky will be entering her first season with the Hawks as the Graduate Assistant Coach after joining the staff in May 2023.


Hrabusicky played for the Hawks as a member of the inaugural team. Hrabusicky appeared in 18 games as a Hawk, starting in 12 of those games. Hrabusicky was awarded onto the GLVC Academic All Conference team in 2021- 2022. Hrabusicky also was awarded the H.A.W.K award in 2022, which honors athletes “will and know-how- the award is presented to each team’s unsung hero who embodies everything it means to be a team player, including an excellent academic career, a positive role model on campus, overcame some adversity, show great improvement and embodies all that it means to be a team player.”


Hrabusicky is originally from Smithton, Illinois, where she attended Althoff Catholic College Preparatory High School. While at Althoff, Hrabusicky was a three-sport athlete, contributing to the cross country, soccer, and lacrosse teams. Hrabusicky was awarded 1st Team All-Academic honors in cross country, soccer, and lacrosse. Hrabusicky’s cross country team won the Class 1A New Athen’s First Place Race Title in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Hrabusicky’s lacrosse team won an IHSA Conference Championship in 2018, where she was awarded to the 1st Conference Tournament Team. Hrabusicky is the first lacrosse college signee out of Althoff.


Hrabusicky graduated from Quincy University in the Spring of 2023 where she received a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, a certification to teach children with Autism, and a Business Certificate.


Hrabusicky is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Education Counseling with an emphasis in College Admissions.


Hrabusicky currently resides in Quincy, Illinois.
