Kathryn Beall began her tenure as the third women's lacrosse head coach in program history Oct. 31, 2016.
Beall arrived at Southern New Hampshire after spending the previous two seasons as the head women's lacrosse coach at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass. In addition to being responsible for all aspects of the women's lacrosse program with the Bison, Beall also served as the Director of Compliance and Scheduling Coordinator for the last year-and-a-half.
Beall graduated from Assumption College in 2014, where she was a four-year standout for the Greyhounds' lacrosse program. A two-year captain, Beall was selected to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team as a senior after tallying 22 points on 19 goals and three assists, to go along with 38 draw controls, 25 ground balls, and 14 caused turnovers. Following her senior campaign, she participated in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association/DeBeer Division II North/South Senior All-Star Game.
For her career, Beall appeared in 63 games with 60 starts and graduated as the program's all-time leader in draw controls (175), as well as 10th on the ground balls list with 124.
Beall also served as an assistant coach with Gold Star Lacrosse from the summer of 2014 until August 2016 when she was elevated to Club Director. In addition, Beall worked as a counselor at Nike Lacrosse Camps in the summers of 2010, 2015 and 2016.
A native of Shrewsbury, Mass., Beall earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from Assumption in May 2014 and received her MBA from Nichols in August 2016.
