Liz Martin

Liz Martin starts her fifth season as the Neumann Women’s Lacrosse head coach in 2024. Her first two seasons were cut short due to COVID.

In 2022, in her first full season, Martin led Neumann to a 9-8 overall record, 3-2 in the Atlantic East. The Knights advanced to the AEC semifinals.

Martin came to Neumann after years of experience coaching lacrosse across the region. She has worked at both the Division I and Division III levels collegiately, most recently at Rutgers University – Camden where she served as both an assistant and head coach in her four years involved with the team. Additionally, Martin also has over eight years of experience as a Division I assistant, helping to guide programs at Marist College, University of Delaware and Saint Joseph's University.

In addition to her coaching expertise, Martin was also a standout performer herself in both soccer and lacrosse at Temple University. The 2004 Temple graduate was named a First Team All-Atlantic 10 performer in lacrosse in both the 2001 and 2002 seasons, while also being named the Atlantic 10 tournament most outstanding player in each of those seasons. Her performance on the field also helped to lead the Owls to the NCAA tournament in both of those seasons.

Martin resides in Haddon Township, N.J. with her husband, three daughters and two dogs.

The site worked great for the tournaments I used it for. I had many coaches respond to my contacting them. The site helped me develop confidence in getting through the recruiting process.
