Britney Wuorio
Britney Wuorio is entering her third season as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Lasell University in 2023-24.
Wuorio is a 2014 graduate of Lasell and was a four-year standout for the Lasers' women's lacrosse program. She finished with 268 career goals, 152 assists and 420 points. From 2011-14, Lasell compiled an overall record of 50-23 and a 31-5 mark in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
Wuorio played in three GNAC championship games, as the 2013 team won the conference title and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament. During a 15-14 victory in the 2013 GNAC championship game against Simmons, she scored five times, including the game-winner with 16 seconds left in regulation. Wuorio represented the Lasers on the 2013 GNAC All-Tournament team. She received GNAC All-Conference first team honors all four years, including being named Player of the Year in 2013 and Offensive Player of the Year in 2012.
Wuorio ranks first in program history in career points (420), first in assists (152), first in assists per game (2.08), second in points per game (5.75), second in goals (268), tied for second in games played (73), fourth in goals per game (3.67).
For individual season records, she is first in points (130, 2013), second in points (125, 2012), sixth in points (100, 2014), fourth in points per game (6.84, 2013), fifth in points per game (6.58, 2012), ninth in points per game (5.88, 2014), second in goals (88, 2012), third in goals (84, 2013), sixth in goals per game (4.63, 2012), eighth in goals per game (4.42, 2013), second in assists (50, 2014), third in assists (46, 2013), sixth in assists (37, 2012), second in assists per game (2.94, 2014), fourth in assists per game (2.42, 2013), seventh in assists per game (1.95, 2012) and tied for ninth in games played (19, 2012 and 2013).
Wuorio ranks tied for seventh in individual game records in most points (11, twice), first in most assists (8), tied for fifth in most assists (6) and tied for ninth in most assists (5, three times).
