Jackie Hoover

Jackie Hoover was named the 8th head coach in Lancaster Bible Women’s Lacrosse history on August 3, 2022. Hoover served as an assistant coach for the Chargers during the 2020 and 2021 seasons under Cheri Horst and also coached as an assistant for both Nyack College and Gordon College. She also worked as the head coach for Elizabethtown High School for two seasons.


Coach Hoover played collegiate lacrosse at Lebanon Valley College and received her master's career at Nyack College. Hoover also serves as an assistant professor at Lancaster Bible College for Sport Psychology.


Since taking over the LBC program, Warren has four coaching victories with a 2-3 United East record and the Chargers have two All-Conference selections

Season-by-Season Highlights

2022: In her first season as head coach for Lancaster Bible College’s women’s lacrosse team, Jackie Hoover helped the squad reach the United East Conference Playoffs behind a conference record of 2-3. The highlight of this squad’s season had to be their bounce-back game against La Roche with an outstanding 16-4 win. The Chargers were unable to make it past St. Mary’s College of Maryland in the United East Conference Semifinal, but the team earned a pair of juniors on the All-Conference teams, showing room for improvement as a team next season.
