Jennifer Pawlowski is entering her first season as head coach of the Gannon women’s lacrosse program in 2020.
Pawlowski led the program at Wheeling Jesuit in 2019, steering the Cardinals to a 12-7 overall record and an appearance in the Mountain East tournament championship game, matching the program record with 12 victories.
Four Wheeling players earned all-conference honors, including league Freshman of the Year Mackenzie Kaderabek.
Prior to her time in West Virginia, Pawlowski led her alma mater Edinboro as interim head coach during the 2018 season. The Fighting Scots started their season 2-1 in nonconference play that season.
Pawlowski was also in the PSAC in 2017, assisting at Shippensburg as the Raiders went 7-9 and put three players on the all-conference team.
A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Pawlowski also served as a sports performance coach at Power Train Sports & Fitness in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, during her time at Shippensburg. She continued coaching lacrosse with youth clubs Lanco Elite and Xtreme Lacrosse in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Pawlowski has also served as a coach with Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse since 2015, and was a sports performance coach at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.
A four-year letterwinner at Edinboro, she played in 59 career games and tallied 47 goals and 95 draw controls. She was a four-year PSAC Scholar-Athlete, and was twice named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Roll.
The Pittsburgh native graduated from Edinboro with her bachelor’s degree in health and physical education in 2014, and earned her master’s in sport management from California (Pa.) in 2018.
