Prior to Catawba, the 2019 season was by far the best in LMU program history, as the Railsplitters finished the regular season with a 12-6 overall record and a 5-3 South Atlantic Conference mark. LMU also won its first SAC Tournament game, defeating Coker in the quarterfinals before losing to Lenoir-Rhyne in the semi-final contest.

The Railsplitters had six players earn All-SAC accolades following the 2019 campaign, with Zoe Zervos becoming the first player in program history to earn first-team accolades two years in a row. The 2019 season saw the program establish records for total number of wins (12) and conference wins (5). The team also set program records for total points (329), points per game (18.2), goals (230), goals per game (12.7), assists (99) and goals against (10).

Prior to her arrival at LMU, Corace was an assistant coach for the Defiance College Yellow Jackets during the 2014 season, the school’s first year of varsity status in Division III. Before her stint at Defiance, Corace was the assistant coach at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y. Corace has also been a member of the Division II All Region and All-American Committee. She has coached at the club level for Yellow Jackets North and currently coaches for the Carolina Miners.

A 2012 graduate of Keene State College in Keene, N.H., Corace led the Owls to three Little East Conference Championships, the 2010 ECAC Championship, and three NCAA tournament bids, finishing her career ranked fourth in program history with 143 goals. She also dished out 27 assists for 170 career points.

Corace’s sister, Alyssa was a 2016 graduate of Catawba College and a two-time All-SAC women’s lacrosse player. Corace graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Keene State and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from LMU in 2017.

Soccer in College gave me a good point of reference for perspective coaches, somewhere I could direct them to see all of my data, in a well-organized, efficient manner. It was a good tool for my recruiting efforts.
