Nicholle Shoger

Nicholle Shoger finsihed her fifth season as head coach for the Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse program in 2021-22. In her first five seasons at the helm, she led the Yellow Jackets to an 26-35 record.

The 2019 season saw her team qualify for the OAC Tournament for the sixth straight season, and the second while under her guidance as they garnered a 9-7 overall record and 6-2 mark in the OAC.

In her first season leading the Yellow Jackets, the team complied a 7-10 overall record, including a conference mark of 5-3. She has coached six All-Ohio Athletic Conference performers and three Academic All-OAC selections.

Before BW, Shoger served as the head coach at Wittenberg University for three seasons.

During her time at Wittenberg, Shoger led the Tigers to a combined 35-15 record, including a North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Regular Season Championship in her first season in 2015. She followed that up with a second-place finish in the conference in 2016. Her teams earned Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad honors all three years she was at the helm, posting a 3.22 cumulative GPA. Shoger also graduated the NCAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2015, the NCAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 and three IWLCA All-Great Lakes Region honorees.

Other duties while at Wittenberg included directing camps and clinics, organizing the team’s fundraising, managing game-day for both the men’s and women’s soccer teams, co-facilitating and teaching a First Year Seminar, participating in the Branch Rickey Mentoring program within the NCAC and serving as a member of the Regional Advisory Committee for Division III.

Prior to her time at Wittenberg, Shoger was an assistant coach at Division II Philadelphia University for two seasons where her main focus was working with the goalies and defense. In 2013, Shoger’s first season, the Rams finished 14-5, which was the team’s best finish at the time under Head Coach George Chris-Luca. One season later, Philadelphia was ranked in the Top 20 in Division II and received votes for the national poll with a 17-1 season that landed the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship. Philadelphia graduated two IWLCA Division II Third Team All-Americans, one Philadelphia Inquirer Women’s Lacrosse Academic All-Area Performer of the Year and one student-athlete who was awarded the Fulbright U.S. Student award during her time as an assistant coach.

At the club level, Shoger coached two different teams from April 2011 to September 2013 -- Aftershock Lacrosse Club and Quaker City Lacrosse Club -- where she planned practices, organized tournament schedules and handled all the on- and off-the-field coaching responsibilities.

Shoger’s lacrosse experience is not just limited to being a coach, however, as she was a member of the Division I Temple University women’s lacrosse program from August 2007 to May 2011. During her freshman year, the Owls won both the Atlantic 10 Regular Season and Conference Championship, earning a berth into the NCAA Tournament. She is a two-time recipient of the “T” Means More award for her strong dedication and passion to Temple lacrosse on and off the field and was named team captain her senior year.

Shoger earned her Bachelor of Arts in speech, language and hearing from Temple University in 2011.

Didn't have a long-term experience with the site, however I found it more user friendly than CaptainU, which I had used in the past.
