Megan Corrigan

Megan Corrigan became the head coach for the Alvernia Women's Lacrosse program in July of 2018.


Corrigan led Alvernia to four wins in her first season leading the Golden Wolves in 2019. She then led Alvernia to two wins in their first five games prior to the cancellation of the 2020 season.


Corrigan takes on the head coaching role after a year working under Kelly McCloskey, who led Alvernia to three MAC Commonwealth tournaments, four ECAC tournaments, and one ECAC title over 13 seasons.


Prior to Alvernia, Corrigan was the assistant coach at Susquehanna University for three seasons, where she coached three First Team Landmark All-Conference players, and three all-region players. Corrigan also helped lead the team to the 2015 Landmark Conference championship game. Corrigan also completed a women's lacrosse graduate assistant coaching position at Misericordia University for two seasons while earning a Master's in Organizational Management.


Corrigan is a 2012 graduate of Alvernia University, where see earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. She was a four year member of the women's lacrosse team, and a two-time MAC Commonwealth Second Team All-Conference honoree. Corrigan is third all-time in program history with 92 career caused turnovers, and sits in the top ten all-time in career assists (42), and is top twenty in career goals (51) and career points (93). She was also the senior captain on the 2012 ECAC Championship team.
