Overall, Johnson is the winningest coach in the history of the 13-year old program, has amassed a record of 55-62, and has coached 16 All-MIAA selections. Her recruits also lay claim to a large portion of slots in the program's record books.

In 2023, Johnson's team followed up their 2022 performance by continuing to excel offensively. The Scots posted a 12-3 record, and a 5-2 record in MIAA play. Alma hosted their first MIAA tournament game since 2014 as the 2-seed, and the 5-2 mark is the first time since 2014 that Alma registered a reocrd above .500 in MIAA play. Sam Peterson, Ava Freerickson, and Sarah Bollinger garnered All-MIAA honors.

Johnson's program had a breakthrough in 2022, coming in as one of Division III's hottest offenses. The Scots finished 11-6, with Kirsten Browne and Ava Frederickson picking up All-MIAA accolades.

Johnson came to Alma from NCAA Division II Grand Valley State University where she was a graduate assistant for three years. At Grand Valley State, Johnson coached two IWLCA All-Americans, three IWLCA All-Region selections, three GLIAC Defenders of the Year, a GLIAC Rookie of the Year and one GLIAC Attacker of the Year to go along with 21 GLIAC All-Conference selections.

Before taking the position at Grand Valley State, Johnson was an assistant coach at Division II Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. While at Georgian Court, Johnson coached four All-CACC members on a team that advanced to the conference championship game.

Johnson played for Division III Birmingham Southern College (AL) from 2007-11, acting as team captain each of her four years. As a senior, she was named a USA College Lacrosse Women's Division III All-American and was also a SCAC All-Conference selection after leading the league in assists.

Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Johnson was a US Lacrosse High School All-American, two-time team captain, and two-time team MVP at Girls Preparatory School.

The site was a great resource to sort colleges by my selection criteria, connect with coaches and be a repository for all of my communications. Overall, the best site that I used in my college soccer search.
