Kelly Wall

Kelly Wall begins her third season as the head women's lacrosse coach at Plattsburgh State in 2024.

Wall became the program's all-time wins leader in 2023, helping the Cardinals to a 7-8 overall (3-6 SUNYAC) mark that established the program record for wins in a season. Plattsburgh State went 4-2 in non-conference games and posted its first-ever wins over both Utica University and Buffalo State. The Cardinals fell just shy of qualifying for the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Tournament for the second year in a row, with the difference being an overtime setback to SUNY Oneonta on April 19. At the conclusion of the season, Plattsburgh State earned a program-best three All-SUNYAC selections.

In 2022, Wall coached her team to a 5-9 overall (3-6 SUNYAC) record, as the team finished in seventh place, just missing out on qualifying for the SUNYAC Tournament and finishing with the most wins in the program's short history. During the season, Wall coached the Cardinals to their first wins in program history over Fredonia and New Paltz, as their three conference wins were also a program record.

Wall was an integral part of helping former head coach Julia Decker build the foundation of the Cardinals’ women’s lacrosse program, as she helped guide Plattsburgh State during its inaugural season of competition in 2019 before aiding in the Cardinals’ 4-0 2020 season, which was cut short due to the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Wall helped mentor the program’s first-ever All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) selection in Frankie Porcaro, who earned Third-Team All-SUNYAC laurels in 2019.

As an undergraduate student-athlete at SUNY Brockport from 2014-17, Wall was the SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2017 and the SUNYAC Rookie of the Year in 2014 in addition to becoming just the fifth four-time First-Team All-SUNYAC honoree in the history of the conference. Wall also earned Second-Team Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America honors in 2017.

The Clifton Park, N.Y., native led the Golden Eagles all four years in points, accumulating 276 over her career with 184 goals and 92 assists.

Wall graduated from Brockport with a degree in sport management in 2017.
