Kari-lei Berry

Berry joined the NDMU staff in September 2019.


Kari-lei Berry most recently comes to Notre Dame having served on the lacrosse coaching staff at Delaware State University. At Delaware State, Berry served as both an assistant coach and head coach. She started off as an assistant coach in 2015 and then transitioned to head coach of the program in June 2016. She helped start the Delaware State program and was the second NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse program at a historically black college and university.


Berry graduated and played for Wilmington University in Delaware, majoring in Criminal Justice in 2008. She played on the program’s first women’s lacrosse team and was a four-year starter and two-year captain. She was also a dual-scholarship student-athlete, playing both soccer and lacrosse for the Wildcats.


At Notre Dame, not only will head coach the 2019 Colonial States Athletic Conference Lacrosse Champions, she will serve as the point of contact for all admissions and recruiting efforts. Berry will be the liaison between NDMU Admissions, coaching staff and recruits.
